It’s been over two years now since The Daredevil Christopher Wright graced us with their whimsical pop-epic, debut full-length, In Deference To A Broken Back. Since then, the band’s toured around the world, playing its tunes for people far and wide, selling compact-discs to whomever wanted ‘em. Compact-discs, because that’s all they had.

Well, that’s about to change…

That’s right! Amble Down is pumped to announce the reissuing of In Deference… on vinyl – as a 12″ LP! Just in time for the band’s tour across Canada and in line with the release of their new, self-released EP, The Longsuffering Song. The reissue will be officially released on October 25, 2011. You can pre-order it (along with the new EP, if ya want) directly from our e-shop right now! Order here.

Some kind praise for All Night…

‎All Night the Calls Came In may be the first time since their electronic-leaning self-titled debut that the band has exhibited such exquisite control over their signature sound.” – Audio Suede

“Halloween, Alaska may be a mythical town, but on the strength of All Night the Calls Came In, it’s one you’ll want to visit often.” – All Music

“Halloween, Alaska have devised this album as a complete picture, rather than just a bunch of, admittedly excellent, tracks. As such its rises and dips in mood and sonic texture are entirely well thought out and satisfying.” – Americana UK.
